I make no secret of my own love of parasites, but if you’re looking for inspiration or ideas, I recommend Radiolab’s Parasite episode, or reading Parasite Rex.

As far as finding resources for research go, you can do worse than Parasitology.com for a starting point. The CDC’s DPDx site and Parasitology from USC are both well-organized, helpful, and reliable sites.
